UTC Climate, Controls & Security completed the acquisition of S2 Security, which will be merged with Lenel, the global leader in advanced access control systems. The combined strengths of the two companies will enable LenelS2 to provide scalable, advanced access control and security management solutions for small and medium-sized businesses worldwide. The combined company is part of UTC Climate, Controls & Security, a leading provider of security, heating, ventilation, fire safety, air conditioning (HVAC) and cooling systems.
LenelS2 combines two world-class teams with complementary benefits. The combined company has more than 50,000 installed systems worldwide.
Lenel President Jeff Steinek will lead the new company, and John Moss, founder and CEO of S2 Security, will be appointed Chief Product Officer. The leadership will include key members of each company, which will ensure that the best is connected with each of the parties.
